PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES

It sounds so depressive and ridiculous when you walk through a path, and at the end you are not being employed or giving a chance to give out what you have, despite the skills you have learned or acquired. A lot of graduates around the world especially the unemployed feels the country have nothing to offer them, and some choose to stay idle. But the question here is what have they to offer for the country to need them most?

A lot of graduate have ended up frustrated in life, due to the inability of getting a white collar job, every graduate's dream is working in a firm or company, earning large amount of money. But what do they do, when this dreams does not come to reality instantly? One of my favorite quotes is “the secret of getting ahead is getting started, and getting started is a stepping stone to the peak of success”.

In life sometimes you ought to start from “nowhere to somewhere”; the starting does not determine, what matters most is how you end it and were you are aiming at. The beginning of success sometimes start from the grass which as time goes on you will be gracious in your endeavor. Nothing start itself, it takes a lot of courage to start from the scratch. Friends, the little one you see without value may be the one that holds your treasures. Fortunes only favour the bold and people who don’t give a damn about scoffers’ opinion. You have your life to your own self. Success sometime comes from the edges you do not expect. Don’t just do away with the one at hand for now, just do it instead of being idle. -Albert Camus- says : idleness is fatal only to the mediocre, and mediocre are people with low level of perception. Believe this, nothing last forever and there you might meet a destiny helper. And the least person you may expect may be the one to hook you up to where you truly belong. As such, respect everyone you come across in life. Wisdom says “respect the roots for they will be the ones to hold you to the top”. Don’t ignore the lows and stay with nothing at hand, it’s better to have something at hand doing than been a burden to yourself and the house hold to restore your esteem.

Be a hustler and always know you are living your life for yourself not for anyone. Stand and face the challenges and conquer slothfulness, because there is nothing like a smooth mountain to the top. There are a lot of ridges and slumps before getting there, wisdom says “to the hill top is a gentle slope which needs endurance to make it to the top”. And always have this at the back of your mind, expectations (responsibilities) will someday turn to be on you and you can’t escape them, if at all life still goes on. Screw away those shame, pride and ego, and look up for a bright future. There are millions ways to make it in life not just by your certificate. This is because being a graduate offers one the opportunities to put into practice what he/she has learned and to be creative, for his good and the good of the community at large with the divine exposures being gotten. See to yourself the best you have, polish it and make it the best you can offer, I bet you not just the country, the world will need you at large and there you will live to your own test not been a modern slave to the government. “The way you lay your bed so shall you lie on it”.
